ABOUT US

Vusi Mathebula has raised important questions regarding how human beings are categorised, separated, and governed in ways that resemble the methods used for domestic animals. After completing courses at the University of Oxford in Psychology and Counselling, World Religion, Ritual and Religion in Prehistory, Philosophy of Religion, and Political Science, along with studies in Physiology and Anatomy through Discovery Learning, he gained valuable insights into the factors that create divisions among humans. Vusi also came to recognise that sports can serve as a unifying force across different ideologies and beliefs. This concept was notably exemplified during the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa and the ancient Olympic Games, with reflections on the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

In September 2015, Vusi organised a gathering in his grandmother’s garden, inviting local community members to participate in Boxercise and indigenous games. The event was met with enthusiasm, reminiscent of the playful days spent in backyard gardens during childhood. This inclusive approach attracted attendees from various religious, political, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, fostering a diverse and vibrant community. As the group expanded, there was a need for a larger venue to accommodate everyone. This led to the inspiration of establishing an organization dedicated to promoting unity through sports, arts, and culture.

Today, we have branches in several villages and towns, including Msiphana village, Nkuri Tomu village, Rikhotso village, Xihoko village, Mtiti village, Mulamula village, Thapani village, Matsotsosela, Miyaka Yaka village, Nwamitwa village, Morudji village, and Tzaneen town. Additionally, we have support from diasporas in the UK who are eager to promote our organisation and its mission.
